I just moved from out of state and was nervous about finding a new hairstylist and salon. Being a brunette with long hair, I was trying to find a salon that wasn’t heavy on advertising “specializing in blonding” and I also wanted to see classic cuts in their gallery. I found Omar’s videos on IG and went down the rabbit hole of the salon and the amazing photos of real women and hair cuts as well and color for when I decide to color my hair… I decided to take a chance. Omar completely understood my fine hair texture, but that I have naturally curly hair, and a lot of it! He discussed the types of layers that would work for my texture and length and face shape. I left with the best haircut I’ve had in a long time! The owner of the salon even came over to meet me after hearing I had just moved to the area and welcomed me. This salon wasn’t snobby (IYKYK)…yet, classy and comfortable! And most importantly, I felt listened to, which for me has been rare in other salons, where I normally feel talked into styles that don’t fit my style or face shape. I will definitely be a regular here and highly recommend! This 52 year old walked in feeling 90 years old, and left feeling like I was 32 again... Thank you Omar!

Absolutely loved my experience with Omar! From the moment I walked in, I felt so comfortable and taken care of. He really listens to what you want and delivers even better than expected. My hair looks amazing, healthy, and beautifully styled. The salon is stunning, clean, and has such a relaxing vibe. I’m beyond happy with the results and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Book an appointment! You’ll be so happy you did. I came to Kennedy Shy after getting a truly awful haircut somewhere else, and not only did she fix my cut, she completely restored my hair health and confidence. Her cuts are so precise, her color work is gorgeous, and she just gets what your hair needs. It’s been about a year now, and I fully trust her to do whatever she wants with my hair. I leave every time feeling like the best (and most put-together) version of myself. She’s sweet, funny, and explains what she’s doing. Honestly, it’s a shame she only fixes hair—because at this point, I’d let her sort out the rest of my life too.

Omar was amazing, he not only went above and beyond on my (spa like experience) he made sure to listen to what I wanted and understood the assignment! Hands down the best to touch my hair! 100/10! Also, the front desk was very welcoming and professional. If you want a spa like experience with hair stylist that listen to your needs and execute it so perfectly this is the place for you!
